As Kathy said above, there's always someone at work that makes thigs difficult. Don't let that person let you slip into some sin. Handle it with grace and dignity. Here's a prayer for your strength.Mannyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15396201693030286919noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7156010004467129157.post-10041242808225462662013-01-29T20:23:23.104-06:002013-01-29T20:23:23.104-06:00Caroline, they sure can. We ordered her wedding dress and started going over some other plans. I'm still holding out hope that something will touch her heart and make her consider getting married in church. We shall see. Thanks for stopping by and for the prayers.
Peace
JoyceTLWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05699746979019393620noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7156010004467129157.post-10246082969072843992013-01-29T20:11:46.486-06:002013-01-29T20:11:46.486-06:00Joyce, Those old Mother's Day cards..They can...Joyce, Those old Mother's Day cards..They can put everything in perspective. : ) Our children show us more of our journey than any of the people who are temporary hazards.

It's an awful to experience to be around someone like that and I can understand how it made you physically sick. Recently, I went through dealing with such a person in a ministry I'm involved in.
Took over a year to break away..

Thank you for sharing how each experience was a share in His cross and each trial survived by His presence in the storm. You gave me much to think on.
Prayers going up for you ...and Blessings always +

Carolinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02386962516762155104noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7156010004467129157.post-36513475622734482802013-01-29T18:47:37.481-06:002013-01-29T18:47:37.481-06:00Thank you Kathy, I hope so too. Very sad but it's life's trials that bring us closer to God and strengthen us. God Bless. I have one, in my old department, that would target someone for a period of time then it would be someone else. She tried to turn others away from that person(s) and always mean spirited gossip. In actuality that person is very insecure and it must be her way to boost her ego. I hope you get through this one quickly! Thank you for remembering me to your Aunt Theresa, and I will pray for the repose of her soul. The oldest came over this evening and we ordered her wedding dress. I have an opportunity to be selfless and put my own pain and discomfort aside for the sake of my child at what should be a very happy time in her life and in mine. I will not allow the ugliness of someone else to mar this. We can fall down with our crosses from time to time, which is what happened to me today, but now it's time to pick it up again and move on! Thanks again my friend ((( (Hugs back)))TLWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05699746979019393620noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7156010004467129157.post-6921709671757332702013-01-28T19:23:35.282-06:002013-01-28T19:23:35.282-06:00Oh my gosh, Joyce. A very saintly aunt of mine just died, and she, I'm certain, is going to be a powerful intercessor. I will recommend you to her. Her name, incidentally, is Theresa. :)
Sometimes, I think that anyone that is seeking after holiness is going to stick out more and more in the world. There is that something about them that rubs certain ones the wrong way.
The perspective you gained on the day your stayed home is a precious one, and I'm sure, fueled by the Holy Spirit. When I am going through rough times with my older kids, I swear God keeps bringing to mind images of them as little children, and somehow, this softens the irritation I may have toward them.
*hugs*Kellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10847572866285311259noreply@blogger.com
