As long as you can financially swing any pay differences or increased gasoline costs there can't be any other consideration other than your comfort and happiness. You spend more time there, probably, than at home. In addition, if you are happy, that tends to rub off on others around you. I'm the manager of my project and I feel the sense of duty way more than the others or when I wasn't a manager.
