(1)There doesn't seem to be...Two things Joyce.<br /><br />(1)There doesn't seem to be a correlation between spending more money on education and better results. Every election cycle they keep coming backl for more money. They started lotteries where part of the proceeds go directly to education. Today, here in NYS, we spend over $18,000 per student per year. For a class of 30, that's over $5.4 million. Where does all that money go? Yes, that's the highest in the country and we rank near the very bottom. It's come to the point where I refuse to agree to any more tax increases for schools. <br /><br />(2)You are absolutely correct about family involvement with their children and results.
