I did read the article. It is interesting that they wanted him as pope before. In other places, it's funny how varied the statements made about him are already. I have even seen the words, "leftist politics." Good Grief! I guess he will be taken apart like Benedict was,(remember Hitler's Pope?) -- not that it will bother him, I expect. I read that he is very orthodox and outspoken on life and homosexuality. I also read he is going to visit Benedict tomorrow. It was moving that he prayed for Benedict before doing anything else. I have faith that the Holy Spirit knows what He is doing. I am looking forward to hearing what Pope Francis has to say!
Yes, I have read some disparaging comments as well. For the love of God, give the man a chance! How could anyone be disappointed by the brief but powerful introduction we had to him today? Well, it will be interesting. God help us all and God bless our new Pope!
Comments which reflect true Christian charity are always welcome. Comments which attack the Pope, the Church, priests or other bloggers will go in the dustbin, especially if they are anonymous. Thank you and God Bless you!

ReplyDeleteHe seems like a very inspired pick. The more I read about him the more I like. May God bless our Holy Father.
