Gov. Chris Christie's Stock is Rising

Why?

He's a Cowboys fan.  That alone is worth a great deal.  Even Roger Staubach told him he's brave, being a Dallas fan in the midst of Giants and Jets territory (their name says New York, but they actually play in New Jersey).

Seriously, although I've had some concerns about his brashness at times, I would rather have a politician who tells you what he thinks, not what he thinks you want to hear.

Right now he's taking a lot of heat for wanting to put the issue of gay marriage to a referendum.  The Democrats in New Jersey have made the issue their number one priority, which gives you some idea of how upside down the world has become.

  1. Christie is great. He would be my ideal president. Too bad he's not running. That's great he's a Cowboys fan. That's another reason to like him. :) Oh by the way, Roger Staubach is probably my all time favorite football player. I loved him when he played.

  4. I wish more politicians would stand for truth and not what will get them re-elected. Often times, they campaign with a specific agenda and when they take office, it seems as if their promises go to the way side. I think it must be a dog eat dog kind of world at our nation's capital or the state capitals. I wouldn't want to be a politician at all!
