He is the same whether he wins or loses. It drives the God-less people crazy. What a gift Tim Tebow is to a sport that is often devoid of anything good and decent. Funny how this sight offends some people, but half-dressed cheerleaders and dirty dancing in the end zone do not. When I see this young man, I see hope.
It's wonderful. I've been rooting for him.
ReplyDeleteI see hope too, Joyce.. and he's got me watching football. : ) I'm not much of a fan, but this young man is amazing.. Although-- when Tony Dungy coached the Bucs...he got me watching football too.

Well, you should have heard some of the pundits ripping him this morning on talk radio. On the other hand, there were others who were made believers yesterday in more ways than one. I think of the character of Eric Liddell in Chariots of Fire and what a mistake it was for the Olympic officials to try to separate the man of God from the athlete. I'm going to enjoy this ride as long as it lasts.
