Philadelphia Reeling Again With Suspension of 21 Priests

Amid reports on the news of unprecedented flooding throughout much of the snow-weary U.S., this announcement almost went by unnoticed.   Cardinal Justin Rigali removed 21 priests from active ministry pending further investigation into allegations that they sexually abused or harassed minors.   The 21 priests have not been identified but were mentioned in the Grand Jury's scathing report released in February.

What a way to begin Lent.

  1. I saw this today at work and first thought the number was a misprint.

  2. Sad. Let's hope they will be exonerated. I can't imagine that many priests. What comes out of a grand jury are possibilities.
