Lenten Silent Retreat at the Carmelite Monastery in Philadelphia

On Saturday March 12th, there will be a Silent Retreat at the Philadelphia Carmel in observance of Lent.  The retreat master is Father Kevin McGoldrick, a very holy and orthodox priest.  The cost is $25 and includes continental breakfast and lunch.  The day begins at 8am with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in the beautiful Holy Spirit chapel,  all-day Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, two talks by Father McGoldrick, opportunity for confession, Litany of Our Lady of Loreto, Rosary, Divine Mercy Chaplet, and finally Benediction.

Following lunch, there will be time to shop in the Avila Bookstore, one of the most comprehensive Catholic bookstores you'll ever come across.  In addition to wonderful Catholic books and other resources, the Avila Bookstore also contains a beautiful collection of devotions and sacramentals.  All proceeds benefit the Carmel.

If interested, please let me know as soon as possible so I can send you the registration form.  SPACE IS LIMITED, so the sooner you reserve, the better your chances.
